Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a call mode monitoring method, comprising: if a current communication terminal uses a rich communication suite (RCS) mode to carry out calling, acquiring real time remaining battery level of the communication terminal; and determining in real time whether the real time remaining battery level of the communication terminal is less than or equal to a first preset battery level threshold; if yes, switching the call mode of the communication terminal from the RCS mode to a circuit switched (CS) mode, and if not, continuing to keep the call mode of the communication terminal as the RCS mode. According to the present invention, when the real time remaining battery level of a communication terminal is less than or equal to a first preset battery level threshold, the call mode is switched to a CS mode from the original RCS mode; and a central processing unit (CPU) of the communication terminal in the CS mode may be in a standby state, so that speed of power consumption of the communication terminal may slow down substantially after the call mode is switched to the CS mode, and as a result, communication time is greatly increased and user experience is improved. Also disclosed in the present application is a call mode monitoring system and a communication terminal.
