Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to an independent front suspension (10) for application on commercial vehicles such as trucks and buses, comprising a 5 substructure (30) associated to an upper wishbone (11) and a lower wishbone (12), the upper and lower wishbones (11, 12) being both associated to a wheel (200, 200') and configuring a caster angle (40), a camber angle (50) and a toe angle (62), wherein the caster angle (40) is of 4.7º to 5.3º, the camber angle (50) is of -0.3º to 0.3º, and the toe angle (62) is 10 of -0.85º to 1.15º, imparting to the suspension of the present invention a characteristic that is not reactive to the moments generated on the wheel assembly, especially in braking situations.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une suspension avant indépendante (10) destinée à être appliquée sur des véhicules commerciaux tels que des camions et des bus comprenant une sous-structure (30) associée à un triangle de suspension supérieur (11) et un triangle de suspension inférieur (12), les triangle de suspension supérieur et inférieur (11, 12) étant tous deux associés à une roue (200, 200') et configurant un angle de chasse (40), un angle de carrossage (50) et un angle de pincement (62), l'angle de chasse (40) étant de 4,7° à 5,3°, l'angle de carrossage (50) étant de -0,3° à 0,3° et l'angle de pincement (62) étant de -0,85° à 1,15º, ce qui confère à la suspension de la présente invention une caractéristique qui n'est pas réactive aux moments générés sur l'ensemble roue, en particulier dans des situations de freinage.
