Abstract:
(EN) Embodiments of service discovery via LP-WUR (low-power wake-up radio) are generally described herein. A wireless device receives, at a LP-WUR of the wireless device, a wake-up packet from a peer device. The wireless device decodes the wake-up packet to determine a service ID (identifier) and protocol support information. The wireless device determines that the wireless device is operable to provide a service identified by the service ID and implement a protocol identified by the protocol support information, the protocol comprising NAN (neighbor aware networking) or Wi-Fi direct. The wireless device wakes up a WLAN (wireless local area network) radio of the wireless device in response to determining that the wireless device is capable of providing the service and implementing the protocol.
(FR) Des modes de réalisation de l'invention concernent une découverte de service via une LP-WUR (radio de réveil de faible puissance). Un dispositif sans fil reçoit, à une LP-WUR du dispositif sans fil, un paquet de réveil provenant d'un dispositif homologue. Le dispositif sans fil décode le paquet de réveil afin de déterminer un ID (identificateur) de service et des informations de support de protocole. Le dispositif sans fil détermine que le dispositif sans fil peut être utilisé pour fournir un service identifié par l'ID de service et implémenter un protocole identifié par les informations de support de protocole, le protocole comprenant le NAN (réseautage sensible au voisinage) ou le Wi-Fi direct. Le dispositif sans fil réveille un WLAN (réseau local sans fil) du dispositif sans fil lorsqu'il est déterminé que le dispositif sans fil est apte à fournir le service et implémenter le protocole.
