Abstract:
(EN) A combined combustor and recuperator is formed with the recuperator surrounding the combustor. Cold gas conduits (14, 16, 20) through the recuperator follow along involute paths toward the combustor. Hot has conduits (26) through the recuperator follow counterflow paths along corresponding involute curves outward from the combustor. The openings (18) in the combustion chamber wall through which cold gas enters the combustion chamber may be directed to impart flow direct to the cold gas to support particular desired behaviour of the cold gas in the portions of the combustion chamber concerned, e.g. supporting a stable vortex flame, enhancing mixing, providing a protective barrier layer.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une chambre de combustion et un récupérateur combinés, le récupérateur entourant la chambre de combustion. Des conduits de gaz froid (14, 16, 20) à travers le récupérateur suivent des trajectoires de développante vers la chambre de combustion. Des conduits de gaz chaud (26) à travers le récupérateur suivent des trajets à contre-courant le long de courbes de développante correspondantes vers l'extérieur à partir de la chambre de combustion. Les ouvertures (18) dans la paroi de la chambre de combustion à travers lesquelles le gaz froid entre dans la chambre de combustion peuvent être dirigées pour transmettre un écoulement direct au gaz froid pour supporter un comportement particulier souhaité du gaz froid dans les parties de la chambre de combustion concernée, par exemple en supportant une flamme de tourbillon stable, en améliorant le mélange, et en fournissant une couche de barrière de protection.
