(EN)A material structure (100) for a solar cell, the material structure comprising, a light absorbing layer (102, 202, 302), a metal layer (104, 204, 304), a graphene layer (106, 206, 306) arranged in between the light absorbing layer and the metal layer, such that the graphene layer forms an electrical interface between the light absorbing layer and the metal layer, wherein the metal layer comprises Cu, and wherein the light absorbing layer comprises a compound semiconductor material selected from the group of Cu(ln, Ga)Se2, Cu(ln, Ga)(S, Se)2, and Cu2ZnSn(S, Se)4. A solar cell comprising the material structure is also disclosed.
