Title: TANDEM CYLINDER VERTICAL EXTRUSION CASTING MACHINE
Abstract:
A tandem cylinder vertical extrusion casting machine, comprising: a mold closing assembly; a first mold plate (10), moving mold plate (20), and second mold plate (30) connected from top to bottom in that order; a main actuating cylinder (40) fixedly connected to the first mold plate; and an auxiliary actuating cylinder (50) fixedly connected to the moving mold plate. The mold closing assembly comprises an upper mold (610) and a lower mold (620) connected to the second mold. The upper mold comprises a first extrusion component (611) connected to the moving mold plate and a second extrusion component (612) connected to a piston rod (520) of the auxiliary actuating cylinder. A piston rod (410) of the main actuating cylinder is connected in tandem to the auxiliary actuating cylinder. The tandem cylinder vertical extrusion casting machine realizes a two-stage pressing action along the same vertical direction, and performs, according to a solidification sequence of a work piece, a two-stage pressing action in separate stages while the work piece solidifies. The invention ensures reasonable distribution of extrusion pressure as an alloy solidifies and increases a local extrusion pressure ratio and effective duration of pressure. The invention facilitates forming of a work piece with large thickness and the overall performance of a cast product. The actuating cylinders of the casting machine adopt tandem and interlocking actuation to improve overall miniaturization and compactness.
