Abstract:
It is determined whether a prescribed fuel supply stop condition is established, fuel supply to an engine is temporarily performed to execute stop time vibration suppression control for suppressing vehicle body vibration after the fuel supply is stopped in response to the prescribed fuel supply stop condition being established, and fuel supply to all cylinders is stopped after the execution of the stop time vibration suppression control. In the stop time vibration suppression control, it is determined whether a first prescribed number of cylinders according to an engine speed or a speed reduction ratio from the engine to a driving wheel have passed a combustion stroke after the fuel supply is stopped, and when the first prescribed number of cylinders have passed the combustion stroke, fuel supply to a second prescribed number of cylinders is performed. The first prescribed number is increased as the engine speed is higher and as the speed reduction ratio from the engine to the driving wheel is higher.
