Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (10) for recovering heat from the exhaust gas flow of an internal combustion engine (1), comprising an evaporation device (12), which is operatively connected to the exhaust gas flow, for heating a working medium; an expansion machine (20), which can be driven by the working medium heated in the evaporation device (12); a condensation device (26) for cooling the working medium; a conveyor device (28) for conveying the working medium in the direction of the evaporation device (12); a controller (100), wherein pressure and/or temperature detection means (21, 31) for the working medium are provided, and the measurement values of the detection means are fed to the controller (100) as input values; and means, which reduce the working medium heat energy generated in the evaporation device (12) and/or the quantity of the working medium conveyed in the direction of the evaporation device (12) by the conveyor device (28) and/or prevent a flow of working medium from the evaporation device (12) in the direction of the conveyor device (28) and/or from the evaporation device (12) in the direction of the condensation device (26) when a specified threshold for the pressure and/or the temperature of the working medium is exceeded.
