Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a brake control device (26) for controlling brakes (14) of a railway vehicle (10) or brakes (14) of a group of multiple railway vehicles (10), wherein the brake control device (26) is configured in such a way that it can actuate the brakes (14) of the railway vehicle (10) or the group of multiple railway vehicles (10) via the axles or via the bogie. The brake control device (26) is also configured such that the brakes (14) of different axles (18) or the brakes (14) of different bogies (12) are sequentially actuated in a braking process. The invention also relates to a method for controlling the brakes (14) of a railway vehicle (10) or brakes (14) of a group of multiple railway vehicles (10).
