(EN)The present invention relates to a technology for a sensor network, machine to machine (M2M) communication, machine type communication (MTC), and the Internet of things (IoT). The present invention can be utilized for intelligent services (smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail, security and safety-related services, and the like) based on the technology. The present invention relates to an efficient image processing method and device for virtual reality content, and according to one embodiment of the present invention, the image processing method for projecting an image of virtual reality content comprises the steps of: acquiring a first planar image projected by dividing a front part and a rear part of a spherical image for expressing a 360-degree image; generating a second planar image projected by sampling the first planar image on the basis of a pixel position; and encoding the second planar image.
(FR)La présente invention concerne une technologie pour un réseau de capteurs, une communication machine-machine (M2M), une communication de type machine (MTC) et l’internet des objets (IoT). La présente invention peut être utilisée pour des services intelligents (maison intelligente, immeuble intelligent, ville intelligente, voiture intelligente ou voiture connectée, soins de santé, enseignement numérique, commerce de détail, services relatifs à la sécurité et à la sûreté, etc.) basés sur la technologie. La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de traitement d'image efficace pour un contenu de réalité virtuelle, et selon un mode de réalisation de la présente invention, le procédé de traitement d'image pour projeter une image de contenu de réalité virtuelle comprend les étapes consistant à : acquérir une première image plane projetée par division d'une partie avant et d'une partie arrière d'une image sphérique pour exprimer une image à 360 degrés ; générer une seconde image plane projetée par échantillonnage de la première image plane sur la base d'une position de pixel ; et coder la seconde image plane.
