Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a trim component from carbon fibre comprising the steps of producing a male component with a control surface; placing unidirectional carbon fibre sheets over the control surface to define a carbon fibre layer having a thickness greater than the maximum thickness of the trim component, wherein each unidirectional carbon fibre sheet is rotated with respect to a preceding sheet such that the direction of the respective fibres of adjacent sheets misalign; curing the carbon fibre layer on the male component; removing the carbon fibre layer from the male component; securing the carbon fibre layer to a machining carriage; and, cutting the outer surface of the carbon fibre layer to expose an A surface of the trim component using a cutting tool travelling along a machining path.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un élément de garniture à partir de fibres de carbone comprenant les étapes consistant à produire un élément mâle ayant une surface de commande ; à placer des feuilles de fibres de carbone unidirectionnelles sur la surface de commande pour définir une couche de fibres de carbone ayant une épaisseur supérieure à l'épaisseur maximale du élément de garniture, chaque feuille de fibres de carbone unidirectionnelles étant tournée par rapport à une feuille précédente de telle sorte que la direction des fibres respectives des feuilles adjacentes ne s'aligne pas ; à durcir la couche de fibres de carbone sur l'élément mâle ; à retirer la couche de fibres de carbone de l'élément mâle ; à fixer la couche de fibres de carbone à un chariot d'usinage ; et à découper la surface externe de la couche de fibres de carbone pour exposer une surface de l'élément de garniture à l'aide d'un outil de coupe se déplaçant le long d'un trajet d'usinage.
