(EN) A method and apparatus for charging secondary batteries. By using a charging mode wherein a high positive pulse current which decreases step-wise is accompanied by a low negative pulse current or a static state, the polarization impact from charging with a high pulse current may be significantly reduced, thus lowering the polarization potential of the cathode of a battery, significantly improving cycle performances of a high voltage system of the battery, in particular the cycle performances at a high temperature, and effectively extending the service life of the battery.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de charge de batteries secondaires. En utilisant un mode de charge dans lequel un courant d'impulsion positive élevé qui diminue pas à pas est accompagné d'un faible courant d'impulsion négative ou d'un état statique, l'impact de polarisation provenant de la charge avec un courant d'impulsion élevé peut être significativement réduit, ce qui permet d'abaisser le potentiel de polarisation de la cathode d'une batterie, d'améliorer de manière significative les performances de cycle d'un système haute tension de la batterie, en particulier les performances de cycle à une température élevée, et de prolonger efficacement la durée de vie de la batterie.
