Abstract:
(EN) An antenna is fabricated by: passing first dielectric strip through metallization station and forming a plurality of radiating patches on top surface of the first dielectric strip and a plurality of delay lines on bottom surface of the first dielectric strip; passing a second dielectric strip through metallization station and forming a common ground on top surface of the second dielectric strip and a plurality of feed lines on bottom surface of the second dielectric strip; passing the first and second dielectric strips through an alignment material deposition station and depositing an alignment layer; depositing spacers; depositing liquid crystal material over the top surface of the second dielectric strip or over the bottom surface of the first dielectric strip; adhering the first and second dielectric strips together to form a multi-layer strip; cutting the multi-layer strip into individual antennas.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une antenne dont la fabrication consiste : à faire passer une première bande diélectrique à travers une station de métallisation et à former une pluralité de pièces rayonnantes sur la surface supérieure de la première bande diélectrique et une pluralité de lignes de retard sur la surface inférieure de la première bande diélectrique ; à faire passer une seconde bande diélectrique à travers une station de métallisation et à former une masse commune sur la surface supérieure de la seconde bande diélectrique et une pluralité de lignes d'alimentation sur la surface inférieure de la seconde bande diélectrique ; à faire passer les première et seconde bandes diélectriques à travers une station de dépôt de matériau d'alignement et à déposer une couche d'alignement ; à déposer des éléments d'espacement ; à déposer un matériau à cristaux liquides sur la surface supérieure de la seconde bande diélectrique ou sur la surface inférieure de la première bande diélectrique ; à coller les première et seconde bandes diélectriques ensemble pour former une bande multicouche ; à découper la bande multicouche en antennes individuelles.
