Abstract:
(EN) A material handling system automatically each picking orders using a put wall. A controller determines whether any of more than one removable intermediate holders in a put wall that are within the reach of a first robotic arm contain one or more articles that are ready for transporting away from the put wall. The controller directs the first robotic arm to: (i) engage the selected removable intermediate holder, (ii) move the selected removable intermediate holder to an empty order container, and (iii) reorient the selected removable intermediate holder to transfer the one or more articles from the selected removable intermediate holder to the empty order container. In one or more embodiments, the articles can be placed in the put wall by conveying donor totes to an each picking robotic arm that places picked articles into an end effector of a second robotic arm.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système de manutention automatique de chaque commande de prélèvement au moyen d'une paroi de rangement. Un dispositif de commande détermine si un ou plusieurs support(s) intermédiaire(s) amovible(s) dans une paroi de rangement qui se trouvent à portée d'un premier bras robotique contient/contiennent un ou plusieurs article(s) qui est/sont prêt(s) à être transporté(s) en éloignement de la paroi de rangement. Le dispositif de commande oriente le premier bras robotique pour: (i) enclencher le support intermédiaire amovible sélectionné, (ii) déplacer le support intermédiaire amovible sélectionné vers un contenant de commande vide, et (iii) réorienter le support intermédiaire amovible sélectionné pour transférer ledit un ou lesdits article(s) depuis le support intermédiaire amovible sélectionné vers le contenant de commande vide. Selon un ou plusieurs mode(s) de réalisation, les articles peuvent être placés dans la paroi de rangement par le transport de paniers de manutention donneurs vers chaque bras robotique de prélèvement qui place des articles prélevés dans un organe effecteur terminal d'un second bras robotique.
