Abstract:
(EN) An optical apparatus (18, 39, 53, 57, 64, 66, 72) includes an array (20) of lasers (22), which are arranged in a grid pattern having a predefined spatial pitch and are configured to emit respective beams of pulses of optical radiation. Projection optics (27) having a selected focal length project the beams toward a target (28) with an angular pitch between the beams defined by the spatial pitch and the focal length. A scanner (48, 55, 58, 67, 81) scans the projected beams over a range of scan angles that is less than twice the angular pitch. Control circuitry (36) drives the lasers and the scanner so that the pulses cover the target with a resolution finer than the angular pitch. A receiver (32) receives and measures a time of flight of the pulses reflected from the target.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil optique (18, 39, 53, 57, 64, 66, 72) comprenant un réseau (20) de lasers (22), qui sont agencés selon un motif de grille ayant un pas spatial prédéfini et qui sont conçus pour émettre des faisceaux respectifs d'impulsions de rayonnement optique. Des optiques de projection (27) ayant une longueur focale sélectionnée projettent les faisceaux vers une cible (28) avec un pas angulaire entre les faisceaux défini par le pas spatial et la longueur focale. Un scanner (48, 55, 58, 67, 81) balaye les faisceaux projetés sur une plage d'angles de balayage qui est inférieure à deux fois le pas angulaire. Un circuit de commande (36) commande les lasers et le scanner de sorte que les impulsions couvrent la cible avec une résolution plus fine que le pas angulaire.
