Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a secondary battery electrode that is capable of suppressing short-circuiting between positive and negative electrodes adjacent to each other when applied to an electrode body of a secondary battery. A secondary battery electrode (10) is provided with: a metallic core body (11) having a thin-plate shape; and active material layers (12a, 12b) that include active materials and that are formed on both surfaces of the core body (11). At a cut end part (15) of the electrode, an end (16) of the core body (11) is positioned farther inward than ends (17a, 17b) of the active material layers (12a, 12b) with respect to an electrode surface direction Y.
