The present invention is a method for operating a membrane separation device that is able to handle a sudden, unexpected rise in differential pressure, while still also increasing designed flux and reducing operating costs, the method comprising: a membrane filtration step for setting a permeated water volume M(t) from the membrane separation device so as to achieve the relationship represented by formula M(t) = KQ(t-1) (where M(t) is a permeated water volume in a period t that has a predetermined length, K is gain (>1), and Q(t-1) is an amount of inflow water to be treated in a period t-1 immediately before the period t), and drawing out the permeated water from the membrane separation device at the set permeated water volume; and a stopping step for pausing the drawing out of permeated water from the membrane separation device when the water level of a water tank in which the membrane separation device is disposed so as to be immersed has fallen to a pre-set stop water level.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de fonctionnement d'un dispositif de séparation sur membrane qui est capable de gérer une augmentation soudaine et inattendue de la pression différentielle, tout en augmentant également le flux prévu et en réduisant les coûts de fonctionnement, le procédé comprenant : une étape de filtration sur membrane pour régler un volume d'eau de perméation M(t) à partir du dispositif de séparation sur membrane de façon à obtenir la relation représentée par la formule M(t) = KQ (t-1) (où M(t) est un volume d'eau de perméation dans une période t qui a une longueur prédéterminée, K est le gain (>1), et Q (t-1) est une quantité d'eau d'entrée à traiter en une période t-1 immédiatement avant la période t), et d'extraction de l'eau de perméation du dispositif de séparation sur membrane au volume d'eau de perméation défini; et une étape d'arrêt pour interrompre l'extraction d'eau de perméation du dispositif de séparation sur membrane lorsque le niveau d'eau d'un réservoir d'eau dans lequel le dispositif de séparation sur membrane est disposé de manière à être immergé est tombé à un niveau d'eau d'arrêt prédéfini.
