Abstract:
In order to prevent step-loss in a motor from being erroneously detected when in the resonance range of the motor during acceleration/deceleration of the motor rotation, the present invention provides a motor control device (10) comprising: a control unit which performs control such that a pulse-width-modulated pulse voltage is applied to each of multiple phase coils of the motor (20) so as to periodically switch the phase of the coil current flowing through the multiple phase coils; a counter-electromotive voltage measurement part (126) which, when the direction of the coil current flowing through any one phase coil among the multiple phase coils is to be switched, sets a suspension period during which application of the pulse voltage to this phase coil is temporarily suspended and which measures a counter-electromotive voltage induced in the coil during this suspension period; and a step-loss state detection unit for detecting a step-loss state when the step-loss is outside the resonance range of the motor (20) and the counter-electromotive voltage measured by the counter-electromotive voltage measurement part (126) satisfies a predetermined step-loss state determination criterion.
