Abstract:
An I-component compensation unit (15) constitutes a first polynomial representing an I-component distortion on the basis of an I-component and a Q-component of an orthogonal modulation signal, and calculates a distortion-compensated I-component by multiplying each term in the first polynomial by a first coefficient. A Q-component compensation unit (16) constitutes a second polynomial representing a Q-component distortion on the basis of the I-component and the Q-component of the orthogonal modulation signal, and calculates a distortion-compensated Q-component by multiplying each term in the second polynomial by a second coefficient. A coefficient calculation unit (17) calculates the first and second coefficients by comparing outputs of the I-component compensation unit (15) and the Q-component compensation unit (16) with a known signal.
