Abstract:
An endoscope optical signal transmission module 23 is configured by being provided with: a plurality of LDs 25 that are respectively configured from surface emitting laser devices, which convert electrical signals into optical signals having wavelengths different from each other, and output the optical signals; a plurality of relaying optical fibers 50 configured from single mode fibers that respectively guide light outputted from the LDs 25; a large-diameter optical fiber 27, which multiplexes light outputted from the relaying optical fibers 50, and propagates the light to the outside; a fixing block 51, into which the relaying optical fibers are inserted; a leading end surface 51b of the fixing block 51, said leading end surface connecting input ends of the relaying optical fibers 50 and the LDs 25 to each other; and a base end surface 51c of the fixing block 51, said base end surface connecting output ends of the relaying optical fibers 50, and an input end of the optical fiber 27 to each other.
