Abstract:
(EN) A method for producing a volume change compensated silicon: silicon oxide: lithium composite (SSLC) material is disclosed. The method includes producing an initially prelithiated SSLC material; delithiating the initially prelithiated material to produce a delithiated SSLC material; and performing at least one iteration of a volume change compensation process involving: (a) re-prelithiating the delithiated SSLC material to produce a re-prelithiated SSLC material; and (b) delithiating the re-prelithiated SSLC material produced in (a), wherein at least one of the following is satisfied: (i) prior to performing the at least one iteration of the volume change compensation process the initially prelithiated SSLC material is essentially completely lithiated; and (ii) at least one iteration of the volume change compensation process produces a re-prelithiated SSLC material that is essentially completely prelithiated. In a final iteration of the volume change compensation process, delithiating the re-prelithiated SSLC material produced in (a) completely delithiates the re-prelithiated SSLC material to produce the volume change compensated SSLC material. The aforesaid process is performed prior to, or ex situ with respect to, the fabrication of an anode that contains the produced volume change compensated SSLC material.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un matériau composite silicium-oxyde de silicium-lithium (SSLC) compensé en variation de volume. Le procédé consiste : à produire un matériau SSLC initialement pré-lithié ; à délithier le matériau initialement pré-lithié de façon à produire un matériau SSLC délithié ; et à réaliser au moins une itération d'un processus de compensation de variation de volume consistant : (a) à pré-lithier de nouveau le matériau SSLC délithié de façon à produire un matériau SSLC pré-lithié de nouveau ; et (b) à délithier le matériau SSLC pré-lithié de nouveau qui a été produit en (a), au moins une condition parmi les conditions suivantes étant satisfaite : (i) avant de réaliser ladite itération du processus de compensation de variation de volume, le matériau SSLC initialement pré-lithié est presque entièrement lithié ; et (ii) au moins une itération du processus de compensation de variation de volume produit un matériau SSLC pré-lithié de nouveau qui est presque entièrement pré-lithié. Dans une itération finale du processus de compensation de variation de volume, en délithiant le matériau SSLC pré-lithié de nouveau qui a été produit en (a), le matériau SSLC pré-lithié de nouveau est entièrement délithié de façon à produire le matériau SSLC compensé en variation de volume. Le processus susmentionné est réalisé avant ou ex situ par rapport à la fabrication d'une anode qui contient le matériau SSLC compensé en variation de volume produit.
