Abstract:
The presently disclosed subject matter provides a simulation process for plant optimization using a steady-state model. In a particular limiting embodiment, the present disclosure provides a process for simulation and optimization of an olefin plant that simultaneously addresses issues related to profit, energy, and equipment constraints. In certain embodiments, a process for optimization of an olefin plant can include steady state optimization methods to simulate dynamic plant operations.
