Abstract:
Optical-thermal system for lighting devices with heat dissipation elements, mainly for LED radiation sources with passive dissipators based on the implementation in two different configurations, parallel or "floating source", of one or more two-dimensional plates with flat, straight or bent sides that are heat conducting by phase shift or heat conduction, which directly transmit the heat generated by the source of radiation that is at a central region of the system, in thermal contact with a central area of the plate or at the joint of the plates, towards peripheral regions by contact of the flat sides of the plates with the fins, radiators or other flat sides of the body of the device of the invention. This system improves heat dissipation and use of space in the devices that comprise it, and when configured as a floating source it allows an optical-reflective assembly wherein the entire radiation of the source is reflected and controlled by the reflector.
