Abstract:
(EN) Systems and methods of managing computational resources are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, a method by a controller (305, 407, 500, 600, 700, 1101) for managing computational resources may include dynamically distributing (801) computational resource shares among sequential services that are mapped to one or more processors (303, 403). Further, each sequential service corresponds to an execution step of a remote application (307, 409). Also, a service chain (313-315, 413-415) comprises at least one sequential service. The dynamical distribution is based on estimated and predetermined tail latencies and average execution times of each sequential service in the service chain as well as the service chain such that the latencies are met. In addition, the one or more service chains are executed contemporaneously.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés de gestion de ressources computationnelles. Dans un mode de réalisation donné à titre d'exemple, un procédé mis en oeuvre par un contrôleur (305, 407, 500, 600, 700, 1101) pour gérer des ressources computationnelles consiste à : distribuer dynamiquement (801) des parts de ressources computationnelles entre des services séquentiels qui sont mappés avec un ou plusieurs processeur(s) (303, 403). En outre, chaque service séquentiel correspond à une étape d'exécution d'une application distante (307, 409). En outre, une chaîne de services (313-315, 413-415) comprend au moins un service séquentiel. La distribution dynamique est basée sur des latences de queue estimées et prédéfinies et des temps moyens d'exécution de chaque service séquentiel dans la chaîne de services, ainsi que sur la chaîne de services en vue de satisfaire les latences.
