Abstract:
(EN) An imaging device (100) is disclosed comprising an ultrasound transducer array (101, 120, 130) having a plurality of ultrasound transducer elements defining an ultrasound emitting surface of the ultrasound transducer array; and an acoustic window (220) on the ultrasound emitting surface, said acoustic window comprising: a first layer (221) of a hydrocarbon elastomer contacting the ultrasound emitting surface, said first layer further containing an antioxidant; and a second layer (223) of a further hydrocarbon elastomer on the first layer, said second layer having a greater Shore A hardness than the first layer. Also disclosed are an ultrasound imaging system (10) comprising such an imaging device, such as catheter (100), and a method (300) of forming an acoustic window (220) on an ultrasound transducer array (101, 120, 130) for such a device (100).
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'imagerie (100) comprenant un ensemble de transducteurs ultrasonores (101, 120, 130) présentant une pluralité d'éléments formant transducteurs ultrasonores définissant une surface d'émission d'ultrasons de l'ensemble de transducteurs ultrasonores; et une fenêtre acoustique (220) sur la surface d'émission d'ultrasons, ladite fenêtre acoustique comprenant : une première couche (221) d'un élastomère hydrocarboné en contact avec la surface d'émission d'ultrasons, ladite première couche contenant en outre un antioxydant; et une seconde couche (223) d'un autre élastomère hydrocarboné sur la première couche, ladite seconde couche ayant une dureté Shore A supérieure à celle de la première couche. La première invention concerne également un système d'imagerie à ultrasons (10) comprenant ledit dispositif d'imagerie, tel qu'un cathéter (100), et un procédé (300) de formation d'une fenêtre acoustique (220) sur un ensemble de transducteurs ultrasonores (101, 120, 130) pour ledit dispositif (100).
