Abstract:
A method and device for controlling the brightness of an OLED screen (10). The OLED screen comprises at least two areas (11) and the at least two areas are respectively driven by at least two ICs. The method comprises: acquiring the brightness of a first subpixel in a column M (101), the first subpixel being one of several continuous subpixels with a same color, the column M being one of N pixel columns within one of the two adjacent areas and being closest to the interface between the two adjacent areas, M being a positive integer, and N being an integer less than or equal to 3; acquiring the brightness of a second subpixel (102), the second subpixel being within a setting range of the first subpixel, the second subpixel and the first subpixel being controlled by a same IC, and a distance between the column of the second subpixel and the interface being greater than a distance between column M and the interface; and when the brightness of the second subpixel is greater than the brightness of the first subpixel, increasing, on the basis of a brightness difference between the second subpixel and the first subpixel, the brightness of the first subpixel (103).
