An automatic ironing machine comprises: a base (1); vertical frame elements (2) provided upwardly at the base; and column elements (3). The vertical frame elements are left-right symmetrical with each other and provided at a central portion of the base. A guiding rail (4) is provided at inner sides of the column elements. The guiding rail is provided therein with an annular spraying head (5) capable of moving vertically. The vertical frame elements (2) are enclosed by and positioned at an inner side of the annular spraying head (5). Multiple spraying holes (6) are arranged at each of an inner side and an outer side of the annular spraying head (5). A screw (7) and a steam pipe (8) are provided in the interior of an outer side of the column element. The steam tube is provided inside a movement-guiding member (9). An end portion of the annular spraying head and the thread of the screw are drive-connected. The steam pipe communicates with an inner cavity of the annular spraying head by means of the end portion of the annular spraying head. A clamping hanger (10) is provided at a top portion of the vertical frame element. A motor capable of rotating clockwise and counterclockwise and a steam generator are provided inside the base. The motor capable of rotating clockwise and counterclockwise and the screw are drive-connected. The steam generator communicates with the steam pipe. The automatic ironing machine can be operated easily, has a compact structure, and can perform fully automatic operations. The invention has higher efficiency of ironing clothes, a lower labor intensity and low costs, and is suitable for ironing a large amount of clothes.
