Abstract:
(EN) Disclosed is a gear carburizing and quenching process. The gear carburizing and quenching technique comprises the steps that a machined gear is placed in a heat treatment furnace for heating, when the temperature rises to 920+/-5°C and the carbon potential is 0.85%, the temperature is preserved for 20 min; the carbon potential in the heat treatment furnace is increased to 1.10%, the temperature in the heat treatment furnace is kept at 920+/-5°C and maintained for 130 min; the carbon potential in the heat treatment furnace is decreased to 0.75%, the temperature in the heat treatment furnace is kept at 920+/-5°C and maintained for 100 min; the heat treatment furnace is cooled until the temperature is decreased to 845+/-5°C; a temperature preservation treatment is conducted on the heat treatment furnace, the carbon potential in the heat treatment furnace is decreased to 0.70%, and heat preservation is conducted for 30 min; and the gear is quenched and cooled.
