Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a broadband five-beam array antenna, comprising: a metal reflector plate; a radiating element array comprising M sub-arrays, each of the sub-arrays comprising N radiating elements arranged in a horizontal direction, at least one of the sub-arrays being shifted in the horizontal direction; multiple phase compensation circuits performing phase compensation on the sub-array shifted in the horizontal direction; and multiple beamforming networks comprising two 3x3 Butler matrix circuits, multiple 2-channel mixer circuits, a phase shifter circuit, and a power distribution network. The beamforming networks comprise a first input port for forming a first beam, a second input port for forming a second beam, a third input port for forming a third beam, a fourth input port for forming a fourth beam, and a fifth input port for forming a fifth beam. In this way, the present invention suppresses grating lobes by means of employing radiating elements arranged in different rows and having a horizontal shift according to a specific rule, and performing specific phase compensation on a shifted radiating element in a feed network.
