Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a method for producing an alkene. The method comprises a step of converting a compound (I) comprising at least two hydroxyl functions into a compound (II) comprising at least two alkenyl functions with cerium oxide particles as catalyst. It notably permits the conversion of 1,3-butanediol,1,4-butanediol into butadiene.

Le procédé comprend une étape de conversion d'un composé (I) comprenant au moins deux fonctions hydroxyle en un composé (II) comprenant au moins deux fonctions alcényle avec des particules d'oxyde de cérium comme catalyseur.
