Abstract:
An anti-drop bead chain comprises two transversely-disposed side ropes (1), a transition chain (2) longitudinally disposed between the two side ropes (1), and a connection member (3) connecting the side ropes (1) and the transition chain (2). The connection member (3) comprises a fitting portion (31) used for being fitted to a side surface of a tire, a side rope mounting portion (32) disposed on one end of the fitting portion (31), and a transition chain mounting portion (33) disposed on the other end of the fitting portion (31). The transition chain (2) comprises transition chain connection members (21) that are disposed on an end portion of the transition chain (2) and that are fitted to the connection member (3), and an antiskid member disposed among the transition chain connection members (21). Mounting holes (331) are disposed in the fitting portion (31) fitted to the side surface of the tire. After the bead chain is assembled on the tire, the mounting holes (331) are blocked by the side surface of the tire. When pull force attached to the part of the tread of the tire is applied to the transition chain (2), the transition chain connection members (21) warp up, the transition chain connection members (21) have the tendency of moving away from the mounting holes (331), and the connection member is limited by a first limiting portion (211). In this way, the first limiting portion (211) is effectively prevented from being pulled out from the connection member through the mounting hole (331) under the action of pull force, and the connection among the transition chain (2), the connection member (3) and the side ropes (1) becomes firmer when the transition chain (2) sustains greater pull force, thereby greatly improving the connection strength and the connection reliability of the side ropes (1) and the transition chain (2).
