Abstract:
(EN) Various ultrasonic surgical instruments are disclosed. At least one disclosed surgical instrument includes a waveguide including a blade and a transducer base plate. The transducer base plate coupled to the waveguide to define a joint at an interface between the waveguide and the transducer base plate. The transducer base plate including first and second sides defining corresponding first and second flat faces configured to receive first and second piezoelectric elements. The first and second piezoelectric elements are configured to operate in a D31 mode.
(FR) La présente invention se rapporte à divers instruments de chirurgie ultrasonique. Au moins un instrument de chirurgie ci-décrit comprend un guide d'ondes incluant une lame et une plaque de base de transducteur. La plaque de base de transducteur est couplée au guide d'ondes pour délimiter une jonction à l'emplacement d'une interface entre ledit guide d'ondes et ladite plaque de base de transducteur. Cette plaque de base de transducteur comporte des premier et second côtés délimitant des première et seconde faces plates correspondantes conçues pour recevoir des premier et second éléments piézoélectriques. Les premier et second éléments piézoélectriques sont prévus pour fonctionner en mode D31.
