Abstract:
(EN) Orthodontic systems and related methods are disclosed for designing and providing improved or more effective tooth moving systems for eliciting a desired tooth movement and/or repositioning teeth into a desired arrangement. Methods and orthodontic systems include the generation of an overcorrection in the tooth-receiving cavities of an appliance worn in the dentition. The overcorrection may provide an improved and more accurately applied force or moment applied to a tooth. The overcorrected force or moment can move a tooth closer to a desired position than if not overcorrected as sufficient force can still applied to the tooth as it gets closer to the desired position. The overcorrected force or moment may also better target the root of the tooth where the biological response to tooth movement occurs. The overcorrection may be calculated in various ways as described herein.
(FR) La présente invention porte sur des systèmes orthodontiques, et des procédés associés pour concevoir et fournir des systèmes de déplacement de dent améliorés, ou plus efficaces pour provoquer le déplacement souhaité de la dent, et/ou repositionner les dents dans un agencement souhaité. Les procédés et les systèmes orthodontiques comprennent la génération d'une surcorrection, dans les cavités de réception des dents, d'un appareil orthodontique porté sur les dents. La surcorrection peut appliquer une force, ou un moment amélioré et plus précis sur une dent. La force, ou le moment surcorrigé peut déplacer une dent plus près de la position souhaitée que s'il n'était pas surcorrigé, étant donné qu'une force suffisante peut encore être appliquée à la dent lorsqu'elle se rapproche de la position souhaitée.
