Abstract:
(EN) An autonomous cart moves products and materials in an industrial environment. It is different from conventional carts because it can navigate autonomously indoors or outdoors in dynamic environments where things change frequently. This autonomous cart uses state-of-the-art "dense" visual perception giving it unequalled and continuous awareness of its surroundings. With this it can operate at a cost, speed, level of safety and efficiency that has never been possible before. This robotic cart makes factories and warehouses more efficient and safer. It enables the movement of smaller batches of material more frequently, reduces the need for expensive conveyor systems, and helps eliminate dangerous and polluting fork trucks from indoor environments.
(FR) Un chariot autonome déplace des produits et des matériaux dans un environnement industriel. Il est différent des chariots classiques car il peut naviguer de manière autonome à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur dans des environnements dynamiques où les objets changent fréquemment. Ce chariot autonome utilise un état de l’art «dense» d’une perception visuelle lui donnant une vigilance inégalée et continue de son environnement. Grâce à cela, il peut fonctionner à un coût, une vitesse, un niveau de sécurité et une efficacité qui n'ont jamais été possible avant. Ce chariot robotique rend les usines et les entrepôts plus efficaces et plus sûrs. Il permet le mouvement de petits lots de matériau plus fréquemment, réduit le besoin de systèmes de transporteur coûteux, et aide à éliminer les chariots à fourche dangereux et polluant d'environnements intérieurs.
