Abstract:
(EN) Systems, methods, controllers and algorithm suitable for use in at least partially automated or autonomous vehicle control are described. The described schemes are well suited for use in vehicle platooning and/or vehicle convoying applications. In one aspect a vehicle mass estimator is described. In another aspect, a controller fault detector is described. In another aspect, a driver input device for use in engaging a platoon and dissolving a platoon is described.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes, des procédés, des contrôleurs et un algorithme appropriés pour une utilisation dans une commande de véhicule au moins partiellement automatisée ou autonome. Les schémas décrits sont bien adaptés en vue d'être utilisés dans des applications de formation de peloton de véhicules et/ou de convoi de véhicules. Selon un aspect, l'invention concerne un estimateur de masse de véhicule. Selon un autre aspect, l'invention concerne un détecteur de défaut de contrôleur. Selon un autre aspect, l'invention concerne un dispositif d'entrée de conducteur destiné à être utilisé pour intégrer un peloton et dissoudre un peloton.
