Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to achieve faster operation for an actuator equipped with a speed reducer. The actuator 1 is equipped with a power/torque source 120, a connection/disconnection mechanism 140 (transmission control mechanism), and an elastic mechanism 160 (elastic member 30). The power/torque source 120 has a speed reducer and generates a driving force for an output unit performing an output operation. The connection/disconnection mechanism 140 is disposed on a transmission path of the driving force generated by the power/torque source 120 and controls transmission of the driving force to the output unit. Relative to the point on the driving force transmission path where the connection/disconnection mechanism 140 controls the transmission of the driving force to the output unit, the elastic mechanism 160 is connected at one end to a position on the power/torque source 120 side and is connected at the other end to a position on the output unit side.
