Title: POSITION SENSING DEVICE USING STANDING WAVE RADAR
Abstract:
In the present invention, the transmission directions of transmission waves are horizontally oriented and made to intersect with each other in at least two locations in space, and standing wave sensing units (sensors 101, 102) of distance sensing units using standing wave radar are provided. The two-dimensional plane position of a measurement object is calculated as the position at which the distance sensing results of the distance sensing units intersect. Through this configuration, the distance of the measurement object can be measured even in a narrow space such as a room interior, and the planar position of the measurement object can be sensed without providing a beam scanning mechanism. Furthermore, the positions of measurement objects can also be sensed when a plurality of measurement objects in close proximity to each other are present.
