Abstract:
(EN) [Problem] To provide: a liquid crystal display element which is improved in terms of alignment stability due to an alignment control layer exhibiting good adhesion to a substrate and is suppressed in image burn-in and the occurrence of dropping marks during the production without deteriorating various characteristics such as dielectric anisotropy, viscosity, nematic phase upper limit temperature and rotational viscosity (γ1); and a method for manufacturing this liquid crystal display element. [Solution] A liquid crystal display element which is characterized in that: a liquid crystal layer containing a liquid crystal composition is sandwiched between a first substrate having a common electrode and a color filter and a second substrate having a plurality of pixels and pixel electrodes respectively corresponding to the pixels; and one or both of the first substrate and the second substrate do not have an alignment film thereon but have an alignment control layer that is formed of a polymer of polymerizable compounds including a compound represented by general formula (1).
(FR) Le problème décrit par la présente invention est de fournir : un élément d'affichage à cristaux liquides qui est amélioré en termes de stabilité d'alignement grâce à une couche de commande d'alignement présentant une bonne adhérence à un substrat et qui est supprimé lors d'une brûlure d'image et de l'apparition de marques de dépôt pendant la production sans détériorer diverses caractéristiques telles que l'anisotropie diélectrique, viscosité, température limite supérieure de phase nématique et viscosité rotationnelle (γ 1 ); et un procédé de fabrication de cet élément d'affichage à cristaux liquides. A cet effet, l'invention concerne un élément d'affichage à cristaux liquides qui est caractérisé en ce que: une couche de cristaux liquides contenant une composition de cristaux liquides est prise en sandwich entre un premier substrat ayant une électrode commune et un filtre coloré et un second substrat ayant une pluralité de pixels et des électrodes de pixel correspondant respectivement aux pixels; et l'un ou les deux parmi le premier substrat et le second substrat n'ont pas de film d'alignement sur celui-ci mais ont une couche de contrôle d'alignement qui est formée d'un polymère de composés polymérisables comprenant un composé représenté par la formule générale (1).
