Title: METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WAVELENGTH CONVERSION MEMBER
Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a wavelength conversion member with which variations in the color of emitted light hardly occur. The method includes: a step for preparing slurry containing glass particles that become a glass matrix 2 and fluorescent particles 3; a step for forming green sheets by applying the slurry onto a support substrate and moving, relative to the slurry, a doctor blade installed so as to have a predetermined gap with respect to the support substrate; a step for forming a green sheet laminate by thermocompression-bonding a plurality of green sheets stacked on one another; and a step for obtaining a wavelength conversion member by sintering the green sheet laminate, the method being characterized in that, in the step for forming a green sheet laminate, at least two green sheets are stacked on one another such that the moving directions of the doctor blade in the step for forming green sheets cross each other.
