Abstract:
(EN) This surface coated cutting tool has a rake face and a flank face, is provided with a substrate and a coating formed on said substrate, the substrate includes a cutting blade that connects the rake face and the flank face, and has an oxygen concentration of less than or equal to 1 at% in a depth position 0.4μm from the cutting blade, the coating includes an aluminum oxide layer containing a plurality of aluminum oxide crystal particles, the aluminum oxide layer includes a first region comprising an A region on the rake face and a B region on the flank face, a second region which is the region of the rake face other than the A region, and a third region which is the region of the flank face other than the B region, and, in the aluminum oxide layer, defining a as the average value of TC (006) in the orientation index TC (hkl) in the first region and b as the average value of the TC (006) in the second region, the relation b - a > 0.5 is satisfied.
(FR) L’invention concerne un outil de coupe revêtu en surface présentant une face de coupe et une face de dépouille, disposant d'un substrat et d'un revêtement formé sur ledit substrat, le substrat comportant une lame de coupe qui relie la face de coupe et la face de dépouille, et présentant une concentration en oxygène inférieure ou égale à 1 % atomique en une position d’une profondeur de 0,4 µm à partir de la lame de coupe, le revêtement comportant une couche d'oxyde d'aluminium renfermant une pluralité de particules de cristal d'oxyde d'aluminium, la couche d'oxyde d'aluminium comportant une première région comprenant une région A sur la face de coupe et une région B sur la face de dépouille, une deuxième région qui est la région de la face de coupe autre que la région A, et une troisième région qui est la région de la face de dépouille autre que la région B, et, dans la couche d'oxyde d'aluminium, définissant a en tant que valeur moyenne de TC (006) dans l'indice d'orientation TC (hkl) dans la première région et b en tant que valeur moyenne du TC (006) dans la seconde région, la relation b - a > 0,5 est satisfaite.
