Abstract:
(EN) In an object storage environment, managing data replication between first and second sites of a distributed computing environment by one or more processors. A first pass metadata hash is calculated for each of the objects in an object-set that is subsequently transferred from the first to the second site. Responsive to the second site, a second pass metadata hash is calculated for remaining objects of the object-set that are identified by the second site at a sub-object level using a predetermined size.
(FR) L'invention concerne, dans un environnement de stockage d'objets, la gestion de la réplication de données entre des premier et second sites d'un environnement informatique distribué par un ou plusieurs processeurs. Un premier hachage de métadonnées de passage est calculé pour chacun des objets dans un ensemble d'objets qui est ensuite transféré du premier au second site. En réponse au second site, un second hachage de métadonnées de passage est calculé pour les objets restants de l'ensemble d'objets qui sont identifiés par le second site à un niveau de sous-objet à l'aide d'une taille prédéterminée.
