Abstract:
(EN) The present disclosure describes a hot-fill container (100) for use with a hot-filling process. The container comprises vacuum absorption sections (132) that resist partial collapse and uncontrolled deformation of the container's walls during the hot-filling process. The vacuum absorption sections are asymmetrically-formed and include respective edge portions (136) and panel portions (134) configured to deform and pivot about a linear part of the edge portions when a vacuum is created inside the container. The edge portions have a curvilinear part (140) that is adapted to comfortably receive and engage a user's fingers during use of the container, making the container more user friendly. The vacuum absorption sections are arranged about the container's central longitudinal axis (114) such that their respective panel portions substantially form the sides of a polygon when viewed in top plan view. The polygon appears to be inscribed within an otherwise circular container periphery.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un récipient pour remplissage à chaud destiné à être utilisé avec un processus de remplissage à chaud. Le récipient comprend des sections d'absorption de vide qui résistent à un affaissement partiel et à une déformation incontrôlée des parois du récipient pendant le processus de remplissage à chaud. Les sections d'absorption de vide sont formées de manière asymétrique et comprennent des parties bord et des parties panneau respectives conçues pour se déformer et pivoter autour d'une partie linéaire des parties bord lorsqu'un vide est créé à l'intérieur du récipient. Les parties bord possèdent une partie curviligne qui est conçue pour recevoir les doigts d'un utilisateur et venir en prise avec ceux-ci de manière confortable pendant l'utilisation du récipient, ce qui rend le récipient plus agréable. Les sections d'absorption de vide sont disposées autour de l'axe longitudinal central du récipient de façon à ce que leurs parties panneau respectives forment sensiblement les côtés d'un polygone lorsqu'elles sont observées dans le plan supérieur. Le polygone s'inscrit dans la périphérie d'un récipient autrement circulaire.
