(EN)A method of processing NdFeB magnetic powder comprises: providing a source of hydrogenated NdFeB powder (101, 102, 103); feeding said powder into an inlet of a cyclone separator (104); separating the powder into an overflow enriched in Nd-rich grain boundary phase and an underflow enriched in NdxFeyBHz matrix phase particles (106); optionally feeding the underflow back into the inlet of the cyclone separator whereby to further enrich the underflow in the NdxFeyBHz matrix phase particles (108a); and collecting the underflow (108).
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement d’une poudre magnétique de NdFeB comprenant : la préparation d’une source de poudre de NdFeB hydrogénée (101, 102, 103) ; l’alimentation de ladite poudre dans un orifice d’entrée d’un séparateur type cyclone (104) ; la séparation de la poudre en une surverse enrichie en une phase à limite de grain riche en Nd et une sousverse enrichie en particules à phase matrice NdxFeyBHz (106) ; éventuellement le réintroduction de la sousverse dans l’orifice d’entrée du séparateur type cyclone afin d’enrichir davantage la sousverse en particules en phase matrice NdxFeyBHz (108a) ; et le recueil de la sousverse (108).
