Abstract:
A turbomachine arrangement with a platform cooling device for a blade of a turbomachine The invention is directed to a turbomachine arrangement comprising a blade (1) of a turbomachine and a platform cooling device (10) for the blade (1) configured to be positioned at a platform (9) of the blade (1). The platform cooling device (10) comprises a peripheral edge (11) configured to be in contact with the platform (9); a first surface portion (31) configured to form a first cavity (41) between the platform cooling device (10) and the platform (9), the first surface portion (31) comprising a plurality of impingement holes (20) configured to impinge onto the platform (9) during operation of the turbomachine; a second surface portion (32) configured to form a second cavity (42) between the platform cooling device (10) and the platform (9); and a barrier (14) configured to be in contact with the platform (9), the barrier (14) forming a connection between two sections (15, 16) of the edge (11) and separating the first cavity (41) from the second cavity (42) fluidically. The platform cooling device (10) and the blade (1) are separately manufactured components, and the platform cooling device (10) is connected at the edge (11) to the blade (1), such that the first cavity (41) and the second cavity (42) are formed between the platform cooling device (10) and the blade (1). The blade (1) comprises a cooling fluid supply passage (17), connecting a hollow blade core (26) and the second cavity (42), for supplying of cooling fluid to the second cavity (42) during operation, and the first cavity (41) is supplied, during operation, with cooling fluid via the impingement holes (20) of the first surface portion (31).
