Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for controlling the quality of a reducing agent solution for an SCR catalyst with a nitrogen oxide regulator. At the start of the method, the SCR catalyst is set to a predetermined nitrogen oxide conversion rate. This is followed by integration of an actual ammonia mass flow to reach an actual ammonia mass, and integration of a modelled ammonia mass flow to reach a modelled ammonia mass. A metering mass factor is then calculated as a quotient of the actual ammonia mass and the modelled ammonia mass, and finally, if said metering mass factor (facDos) exceeds a set first threshold (311) (at point 312), an error state is generated which assigns the reducing agent solution a bad quality rating.
