Abstract:
(EN) A novel modification of 5-methylcytosine catalyzed by a Cmd1 enzyme and an application thereof. The Cmd1, a 5mC-modifying enzyme, can link a glycerol group to the 5mC methyl carbon of a methylated nucleic acid through a carbon-carbon single bond.
(FR) L'invention concerne une nouvelle modification de 5-méthylcytosine catalysée par une enzyme Cmd1 et une application associée. La Cmd1, une enzyme de modification de 5mC, peut lier un groupe glycérol au carbone méthylique de 5mC d'un acide nucléique méthylé par l'intermédiaire d'une liaison simple carbone-carbone.
(ZH) Cmd1酶催化的5-甲基胞嘧啶核酸的新修饰及其应用。5mC修饰酶Cmd1可以在甲基化核酸的5mC甲基碳上通过碳碳单键连接一个甘油基团。
