A rotor system for a laterite nickel ore drying and crushing machine, comprising a hammer head structure (11) connected to main shafts (1) and arranged in a segmented and staggered manner. The main shafts (1) at both ends of the hammer head structure arranged in a segmented and staggered manner are further separately provided with a heat dissipation disk (3), a bearing base (12), and an end hammer disk (16); both ends of the hammer head structure (11) arranged in a segmented and staggered manner separately fix the main shafts (1) and the corresponding end hammer disk (16) thereof by means of a bidirectional positioning structure (2); the hammer head structure (11) arranged in a segmented and staggered manner at least comprises short distributed hammer head components (8) and long distributed hammer head components (9). The rotor system achieves the effects: during the layout of hammer heads of a hammer head structure arranged in a segmented and staggered manner, each row in an axial direction is divided into two segments and the hammer heads are staggered, and adjacent two rows of hammer heads are axially staggered by means of the adjustment of separating rings (10) in the circumferential direction, thereby raising the transverse sweeping cross section of the hammer heads, reducing the length of hammer shafts, reducing replacement space between the hammer heads and the main shafts of the hammer heads, and facilitating replacement.
