Abstract:
(EN) A method for characterizing a hydraulic fracture in a subsurface formation, includes inducing a pressure change in a well drilled through the subsurface formation. Pressure and/or a time derivative thereof is measured at a location proximate to a wellhead for a selected length of time. A conductivity of at least one fracture is determined using the measured at least one of pressure and the time derivative of pressure. A change in the determined conductivity with respect to time is determined.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de caractérisation d'une fracture hydraulique dans une formation souterraine, comprenant l'induction d'un changement de pression dans un puits foré à travers la formation souterraine. La pression et/ou une dérivée temporelle de celle-ci sont mesurées à un emplacement proche d'une tête de puits pendant une durée sélectionnée. Une conductivité d'au moins une fracture est déterminée à l'aide de la pression mesurée et/ou de la dérivée temporelle de pression mesurée. Un changement de la conductivité déterminée par rapport au temps est déterminé.
