Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a light weight axle beam (100) having strengthening rib arrangement (16) at a region of the axle beam where stress due to torsional forces or fatigue loading attains maximum value during the operation of the axle beam. The arrangement of at least one stiffening rib provides stiffness to beam to withstand torsional and bending loads; and improved deflection characteristics.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une poutre d'essieu légère présentant un agencement de nervures de renforcement au niveau d'une région de la poutre d'essieu où une contrainte due à des forces de torsion ou une charge de fatigue atteint une valeur maximale pendant le fonctionnement de la poutre d'essieu. L'agencement d'au moins une nervure de raidissement assure une rigidité à la poutre pour résister à des charges de torsion et de flexion; et des caractéristiques de déflexion améliorées.
