Abstract:
(EN) A gamma camera, a system, and a method are described, wherein a large gamma camera can be subdivided into two or more smaller gamma cameras, each independently positioned for SPECT data acquisition. These transformable gamma cameras make more efficient use of the gamma photon detector area. Tiled arrays of semiconductor gamma detectors are especially suited for such transformation.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une gamma-caméra, un système et un procédé, une grande gamma-caméra pouvant être subdivisée en au moins deux gamma-caméras plus petites, chacune étant indépendamment positionnée pour l'acquisition de données de tomographie d'émission monophotonique. Ces gamma-caméras transformables permettent une utilisation plus efficace de la zone de détecteur de photons gamma. Des réseaux en mosaïque de détecteurs gamma à semi-conducteurs sont particulièrement appropriés pour une telle transformation.
